Art displays and food trucks draw large audiences to the monthly First Friday activities.

Pendleton Heights is a historic neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. It is located near the downtown highway loop, between Paseo and Chestnut Trafficway on the west and east sides and Independence Avenue and Cliff Drive on the south and north sides.

The West Bottoms is a peaceful neighborhood that comes to life once a month for the First Weekends event, which features food trucks and live music. West Plaza

West Plaza is a Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood located just west of the Country Club Plaza district. It is a diverse urban community with single-family homes, small apartment complexes, and storefront businesses.

The West Plaza is bounded on the north and south by Westport Road (43rd) Street and Brush Creek and on the east and west by Madison Avenue and State Line Road.

Many bungalows, Kansas City shirtwaists, and brick apartment structures date from the early twentieth century. In the West Plaza, inviting front porches are common. Teardowns have recently become popular.

Several restaurants, pubs, and other businesses are housed in ancient brick storefronts along Westport Road, the neighborhood’s northern limit. A cluster of vintage and houseware retailers can be found on another commercial strip along 45th Street.

Union Hill is a historically significant neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri. The area is located between 27th and 31st Streets, as well as Main Street and Gillham Road.

The Founders at Union Hill is a 9.2-acre (3.7-hectare) mixed-use, upscale urban development that spans 27th Terrace to 31st Street and Oak Street to Gillham Road. It is closer to Crown Center than it is to the neighborhood.
