Exciting New Fast-Food Option Lands in Blue Springs!

Blue Springs is buzzing with excitement as it gears up for the grand opening of Smalls Sliders, the popular gourmet slider chain! Mark your calendars for April 26, when this delightful eatery opens its doors at 704 NW Mock Ave.. Whether you’re a slider lover or simply looking for a unique food experience, this is one opening you won’t want to miss!

Two Words: Free Gifts!

What’s better than delicious sliders? Getting free stuff while enjoying them! The first 100 guests to arrive at Smalls Sliders will walk away with a pair of funky “smorange slides”—yes, that’s right, bright orange slide-on shoes that will make you feel like a superstar! The grand opening kicks off at 10 a.m., so get there early to snag your free footwear and be one of the first to try their tasty offerings.

Bringing a Taste of the South to Kansas City

Backing this fun venture is none other than former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. While he’s known for his football skills, he now channels his energy into the food industry. Smalls Sliders is part of an Atlanta-based chain founded by Brandon Landry, who also owns Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. Since its inception in late 2019, the brand has rapidly gained fans across the nation, and with multiple locations in Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, and South Carolina already, it’s clear that sliders are here to stay!

Not to forget, Smalls Sliders made its debut in the Missouri market earlier this year with a location in Bridgeton, near St. Louis, and just recently opened another spot in Wichita, Kansas. Talk about a whirlwind expansion!

Local Ownership and Community Spirit

The Blue Springs location is local to owner Mark Parretta, who has been thrilled by the warm reception the community has shown since news of the opening broke. The design of the restaurant itself is eye-catching, featuring bright orange shipping containers, complete with drive-thru and walk-up windows for your convenience. It’s a quirky and fun atmosphere that captures the essence of what Smalls Sliders is all about!

What’s Cooking on the Menu?

If you’re wondering what deliciousness awaits you, prepare to indulge in a menu that includes mouth-watering cheeseburger sliders, all slathered in their signature “smauce.” But that’s not all—don’t forget to try their seasoned waffle fries and an array of delectable shakes in vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and cream flavors. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a late-night snack, there’s something for everyone at Smalls Sliders!

Future Plans for More Locations

There’s more good news for the Kansas City area! Parretta holds a contract to develop a total of NINE locations across the metro, with promising potential spots like Lee’s Summit, Kansas City, Olathe, Overland Park, Liberty, and Independence. That means more sliders and more smiles in the near future!

The Blue Springs Smalls Sliders will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, so there will be plenty of time to swing by for your slider fix.

In addition to launching new eateries, the excitement around Kansas City doesn’t stop here. Patrick Mahomes, famous NFL quarterback and local legend, is also opening a swanky steakhouse called 1587 Prime, alongside tight end Travis Kelce, at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. The culinary scene is definitely heating up, and it looks like there’s something for everyone!

So, are you ready to slide into Smalls Sliders? Don’t miss out on being part of this delicious adventure!
