When and Where to Go

The festivities kick off this Friday, September 13, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and you can choose to either drive or walk through the U-shaped drive located just south of the National World War I Museum and Memorial. But if you want to catch the magic up close, make sure to head over on Saturday evening, September 14, where the attraction will be *walk-through only* from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A Glowing Display that Amazes

What can you expect? Well, picture this: the night will come alive with giant illuminated puppets, stunning glow performers, and awe-inspiring aerialists! Among the standout attractions are an *18-foot glowing alien* that is sure to take your breath away and a *15-foot dancing mushroom* that adds a whimsical touch to the entire event. Bring your family and friends, and don’t forget your cameras to capture these memorable moments!

Music and Art Festival on Saturday

But wait, there’s more! In addition to the incredible puppet displays, Saturday will feature a delightful music and art festival from noon to 5 p.m.. This is an excellent opportunity for local artists and musicians to showcase their talents. One highlight you won’t want to miss is the *Blue Planet Handmade Parade* at 3 p.m., where you’ll see *elaborate homemade costumes* and crafts that will dazzle and inspire creativity in all ages.

Getting There

Plan your visit with ease! For those driving, you can enter from Main Street and Memorial Drive or from Wyandotte Street and 31st Street. Free parking is available in the museum’s West Visitors Lot, which is convenient for all attendees. Just a heads up: Kessler Road will be open for northbound traffic to exit, but it will be closed to southbound traffic.

Other Important Details

As a reminder, there will be no parking allowed on the U-shaped drive during the evening displays, so make sure to park your vehicle in the designated areas to enjoy a hassle-free experience.
