OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – A suspect on the run is being sought by local authorities in Overland Park, Kansas, following a significant theft from a local retail outlet located near the Oak Park Mall.
The police revealed that the incident took place on the afternoon of March 13 in a store sited on the 11800 block of West 95th Street. The unidentified man is believed to have committed felony theft. The exact nature and value of the items stolen, however, have not been made public.
Authorities have stated that the incident was captured on surveillance cameras, pointing out the culprit was seen donning a grey Chiefs hoodie. Additionally, he was seen fleeing the scene in a silver Chevrolet HHR bearing a temporary license plate.
The Overland Park Police Department (OPPD) has released photos captured from the surveillance footage hoping that the public might recognize and help locate the alleged thief.
