The Overland Police Department (OPD) initially received an alert of a potential bomb threat early in the day. Responding to the situation, OPD officers were promptly dispatched to the scene. Also present was the expert bomb squad, tasked with identifying and neutralizing any possible threats.

Upon arrival, the area was cordoned off with a heavy police presence, indicating the severity of the situation. The immediate vicinity of the Planet Fitness location was thoroughly inspected by the bomb squad.
