In the early hours of Monday, June 3, a cruel twist of fate happened in Raytown, Missouri as 40-year-old Kansas City resident Kevin C. Kirkendoll tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident.
Just after 12:30 a.m., emergency services from the Missouri Highway Patrol were alerted to a reported severe crash on Raytown Road, north of East 66 Street. On arrival, they discovered a heartbreaking scene.
Kirkendoll was reportedly heading northbound on Raytown Road on his 2009 Suzuki GSX- R1000 when he lost control of his motorcycle. In the ensuing chaos, he flipped and was subsequently thrown from his bike. Despite wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, Kirkendoll, unfortunately, could not be saved and was declared dead at the scene by first responders.
