Victim Identified in KCK Stabbing
While the victim of a stabbing near a KCK apartment complex has been identified, the suspect arrested in connection to that case awaits formal charges. The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department announced on Wednesday, Feb. 28, that detectives have identified the victim of a stabbing in the 2000 block of N. 57th Ter., as Alfredo Reyes, 43, of Kansas City, Kan.
Details of the Incident
Just after 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, police received a call reporting a disturbance in the 2000 block of N. 57th Ter. Upon arrival, they found Alfredo Reyes with multiple stab wounds. Sadly, Reyes was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Suspect Arrested
Law enforcement officials arrested Jarald Wilbur, 26, in connection to the stabbing incident. Wilbur’s bond was set at $250,000, and he remains in custody awaiting formal charges from the Wyandotte Co. District Attorney’s Office.
