Heading down to Olathe, you’ll encounter another broken down vehicle on I-35, located from East Santa Fe Street/Exit 218 to 119th Street/Exit 220. Fortunately, this incident affects a mere 680 feet. Reports revealed this situation around 4:46 p.m., with the latest update coming in just nine minutes later.
If you find yourself in North Kansas City, there’s a broke down vehicle on I-29/I-35 between Bedford Road/Exit 5 and 16th Avenue/Exit 5. This minor disruption covers about 150 feet and was first reported around 1:18 p.m., with updates being provided shortly thereafter.
Also affecting Kansas City specifically is a broken down vehicle on eastbound I-70 from Turner Diagonal Fwy/Exit 415 to 57th Street/Exit 417, impacting a segment measuring 470 feet. The alert was initially reported at 10:26 p.m., with more current details available around 11:01 p.m.
And just to give you a full picture, we also have a broken down vehicle on eastbound I-70 between US-40/31st Street/Exit 7 and Manchester Trafficway/Exit 7. This particular event impacts 160 feet and was reported at 5:41 p.m. with updates available shortly after.
Many drivers are currently experiencing minor interruptions on soutbound I-435. There are a couple of reports of broken down vehicles affecting various segments of the road. One is reported between I-70/Exit 63 and Stadium Drive, affecting 340 feet. The initial report came in at 6:51 p.m., just before another incident, which occurred between Gregory Boulevard/Exit 67 and 87th Street/Exit 69, impacting 130 feet.
Plus, we saw some road closures on Wyandotte Street between Southwest Boulevard and I-670 East, covering 590 feet. Details on this blockage were first noted at 2:41 p.m. and updated shortly after, so you might want to take a detour if that’s part of your planned route.
