Virtual Small Business Application Workshop

As March approaches, the Small Business Celebration in Kansas City enters its next phase. To assist businesses in the application process, a virtual Small Business Celebration Application Workshop is scheduled for March 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. The workshop, conducted via Zoom, will provide insights into the application process with a panel of past winners, Top 10 recipients, and judges. This workshop aims to help businesses prepare their applications effectively, with the deadline for submissions set for March 20.

The Small Business Celebration in Kansas City culminates in the announcement of the 2024 Top 10 businesses and the presentation of the prestigious Mr. K Award for Small Business of the Year. The Chamber is excited about the upcoming events and activities leading up to the Awards Luncheon on June 13, where the winners will be honored.

Healthy KC Vendor Expo

The Greater KC Chamber of Commerce will be launching its 2024 Wellness Certification at the Ninth Annual Healthy KC Breakfast and Vendor Expo on March 6. This event offers attendees the opportunity to explore innovative ideas for workplace wellness across four pillars: Personal Health Resources, Psychosocial Work Environment, Enterprise Community Involvement, and Work Environment. The vendor expo will provide networking opportunities for participants before and after the program.
