On the afternoon of May 6, 2024, Kansas City police announced that they had identified three teenagers sought in connection to a shooting incident that took place in the city’s Country Club Plaza shopping district in early April. The three comprise part of a group of eight individuals who the authorities are eager to identify concerning the matter.
On April 6, 2024, around 6:30 p.m., a disturbance occurred within a crowd of almost 100 people in the vicinity, which led to the shooting. Notably, no reported injuries came out of the incident. Since then, the police detectives are working tirelessly to find individuals related to this shooting.
Detaining the three teenagers required taxpayers’ collective effort, and the same needs the remaining five unidentified suspects. Owing to their age, police have withheld the names of the three identified. On April 26, detectives released pictures of eight people believed to be connected to the shooting incident, appealing for public assistance in recognizing them.
