The incident, which unfolded on Saturday, December 7, 2024, left the officer with a broken nose and other injuries, but thankfully, she is now on the road to recovery.
The Incident Unfolds
At around 8:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a man acting aggressively towards a resident at an apartment complex situated near West 25th Street and Melrose Lane. When the officer arrived, she spotted the man and attempted to have a conversation with him. However, things took a violent turn as he immediately launched an attack, punching her several times in the face.
