Christmas Cheer is Here! Kansas City’s Holiday Pop-Ups Are Filling the Air with Festivities

As the holiday season approaches, Kansas City is lighting up with Christmas cheer like never before! The city is bursting with exciting pop-up bars and restaurants that are sure to bring you all the cozy vibes and merry spirit you crave this time of year. Reservations are now open, and here’s a sneak peek at some of the best pop-up spots around town you won’t want to miss!

🎡 The Gingerbread at T-Mobile Center

First up is the brand-new pop-up bar, The Gingerbread, located inside the T-Mobile Center. Set to run from November 29 to December 29, this enchanting spot features themed craft cocktails and mouth-watering appetizers. Plus, you’ll love the photo opportunities with a whimsical gingerbread-themed carousel!

Where: T-Mobile Center, 1407 Grand Blvd.
Hours: 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. Reservations cost $14 on Thursdays and Sundays and $18 on Fridays and Saturdays. Don’t forget, it’s 21 and up only!

🥳 Holiday Hideaway at Chicken N Pickle

For a more laid-back vibe, check out the Holiday Hideaway at Chicken N Pickle! With two locations (one in Overland Park and another in North Kansas City), this pop-up brings cozy lodge vibes with outdoor fire pits and festive decorations. Open from November 22 to December 31, this spot will fill you with holiday cheer!

Where: Chicken N Pickle, 5901 W. 135th St. in Overland Park and 1761 Burlington St. in North KC.
Hours: 4:15 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, with longer hours on weekends. A $10 reservation per person is required, and you must be 21 and up.

🍷 KC Wine Co.’s “Jingle” Pop-Up

Head over to KC Wine Co. for their delightful holiday pop-up, “Jingle,” featuring festive drinks like Christmas cosmopolitans and mistletoe margaritas. This spacious barn, open from December 1 to December 22, is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Where: KC Wine Co., 13875 S. Gardner Road in Olathe
Hours: Friday and Sunday from 4-9 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is free and open to those 21 and up!

🏈 Kingdom’s Greetings at Arrowhead Stadium

If you’re a Chiefs fan, you won’t want to miss Kingdom’s Greetings at Arrowhead Stadium! This pop-up bar, hosted by Vignettes, will be transformed into a red-and-gold wonderland featuring specialty cocktails and a cozy fireplace. Open from November 30 to December 29, this one promises to be a cheer-filled experience!

Where: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, 1 Arrowhead Drive
Hours: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursdays to Sundays. Reservations are $25 per person, and again, 21 and up only!

🎄 Miracle Returns for More Festive Fun

The iconic holiday pop-up, Miracle, returns with locations on the Country Club Plaza and downtown! Expect festive drinks and decorations galore from November 29 to December 28 in Plaza, and until December 23 downtown. It’s sure to be a Christmas wonderland!

Where: 4807 Jefferson St. on the Plaza, and 2000 Grand Blvd. downtown. Reservations are available.

🍺 Rec Deck the Halls at Boulevard Brewing Co.

A firm favorite, Boulevard Brewing Co. is once again turning their space into Rec Deck the Halls, running from November 29 through December 30. Grab a festive cocktail and enjoy shuffleboard while soaking in the holiday ambiance!

Where: Boulevard Brewing Co., 2501 Southwest Blvd.
Hours: 1:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with a $5 cover charge benefiting local nonprofits!

✨ Tinsel Tavern at the Power & Light District

A festive twist awaits you at Tinsel Tavern, set inside Shark Bar! This pop-up brings beach vibes to the holiday scene with themed drinks and events. Open from November 29 to December 28, it’s sure to be a hoot for anyone in the mood for festive fun!

Where: Shark Bar, 1340 Grand Blvd.
Hours: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, and extended hours on the weekend. Reservations cost $15 per person, 21 and up, of course!

🎉 Tinsel & ‘Tinis at Union Station

Finally, the largest pop-up in K.C. is Tinsel & ‘Tinis at Union Station! This gigantic space offers entertainment like visits from Santa and live carolers on select nights. The event runs from December 12 to 21 – don’t miss it!

Where: Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Road
Hours: From 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on event nights. General admission is $25.
