Callie has over 15 years of experience under her belt in creative and brand management and has helped grow multiple consumer-facing brands right here in our city. How cool is that? She’s the marketing director at the UMKC Innovation Center, and she’s leading the charge for Global Entrepreneurship Week for the second time in a row! Talk about dedication!
Her passion for entrepreneurship is evident. “I’m passionate about empowering entrepreneurs and delivering impactful events that inspire growth and innovation,” she mentions enthusiastically. And get this: Callie is a proud Kansas City native, having graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute. After a global journey in her career, she remains committed to her hometown.

First up, we asked her what word she always seems to stumble over. “No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to spell ‘conscientious’ correctly,” she confessed. It turns into a funny game for her, and she embraces the giggles that come along with it. Who knew spelling could be so entertaining?
