Sur: Music of South America
First up, we have Sur: Music of South America, showcasing the beautiful blend of sounds from Colombia and Bolivia. This concert features the incredible Colombian guitarist and vocalist Nilko Andreas, alongside the talented Bolivian singer Gian-Carla Tisera. Taking place on September 14 from 7–9 pm at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, this concert is part of the Ensemble Iberica’s 2024 concert series and promises to be a delightful experience connecting local audiences with world music. Khatia Buniatishvili Returns!
Mark your calendars for September 17 when Khatia Buniatishvili, the exquisite Georgian pianist, graces the stage at Helzberg Hall in the Kauffman Center from 7–9 pm. She won the Borletti-Buitoni Trust award back in 2010, and her latest album, Labyrinth, is available on various streaming platforms.
