KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A man from Kansas City, Zachary D. Simmons, is currently behind bars after being charged with possession of child pornography. This incident comes after his recent arrest on an investigative hold that started on August 23, 2024.
According to records from the Platte County Circuit Court, the 34-year-old Simmons was apprehended and is facing a single charge of possession of child pornography. The Platte County inmate roster shows that Simmons was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold immediately following his arrest.
