Renowned Texas-based chain Buc-ee’s has finally chosen a site for its first establishment in Kansas City, Kansas. Known for its massive gas station- convenience stores, Buc-ee’s has submitted a preliminary plan to the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas.

Buc-ee’s Arrival in the Heart of Kansas

The proposed site is situated at the northeast corner of 110th Street and Interstate 70, adjacent to the Kansas Speedway and The Legends Outlets Kansas City. Eager fans of the sizable Buc-ee’s travel centers have been waiting with bated breath for the superstore’s monumental entrance into the Kansas City market.

Once approved, this could serve as a significant game-changer for the area. Buc-ee’s is ideal for bustling interstates but settles in less-populated regions, thereby contributing to local economy and infrastructural development.

The chain, established in 1982, currently operates 49 locations, including 35 in its home state Texas. It revealed its first Missouri location in Springfield on December 11, 2023.
