Kansas City – Kansas City has for long been a beloved food hub with its blend of traditional American favorites and unique fusion dishes stirring the culinary landscape. A recent development in the city’s food scene is the expansion of your favorite Italian Sausage Co. Looks like the city’s food lovers are in for some exquisite Italian treat!
The popular Gladstone deli, Italian Sausage Co., has recently moved from its original 500-square-foot walk-up counter space to a new, spacious 1,100-square-foot space only two doors down. This upgrade is not just about space; it now includes indoor seating, making it the perfect spot to relish their hefty Italian subs and juicy sausages.
Owners Joe Jr. and Michelle Brancato opened the new facility a few months ago. They have furnished the establishment with a “family table” in the back, decorated to resemble their family dining room table at home. The familiar, warm setting is thoughtfully designed to give the patrons a cozy, homely feel.
Expansion comes hand in hand with more culinary delights. The deli’s menu has witnessed the addition of a variety of appetizers, salads, and hot sandwich classics. Customers can now savour their well-loved Italian beef, Italian steak, and chicken parmesan sandwiches. Adding to the mix is an authentic Philly cheesesteak, developed by local Kansas Citian Doreen Brown, originally hailing from the City of Brotherly Love.
To complete an Italian meal without an Italian dessert? Not a chance! The Brancatos have taken special care to import Italian pastries directly from their origin in New Jersey. The sweet treat offerings include cannolis, zeppoles, and sfogliatelle, transporting the authentic East Coast flavor right to Kansas City.
The sausage experts do not plan to limit their offerings only to meals and desserts. They also are planning to add breakfast to their lineup soon. For their breakfast sandwiches, Luca bagels will be teamed up with coffee drinks from their new espresso bar offering a perfect kick-start for the day.
The Italian Sausage Co., with its expansion and diversified menu offerings, reinforces Kansas City’s status as a burgeoning hub for diverse culinary indulgence. Its move to include a comfortable seating area, an expanded menu that caters to all meals of the day, and a market and liquor license to serve alcohol certainly positions it as a go-to Italian food paradise in Kansas City.
