Season Re-Opening of Horsefeather Social

Positioned on top of the Loews Kansas City Hotel, Horsefeather Social, is slated to reopen its doors for the new season on Wednesday, May 1. The innovative hotspot will be open every Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

This timeless classic has origins in Lawrence, Kansas, from the early 1900s and became particularly popular in Kansas City, Missouri. The drink, reminiscent of a traditional Horse’s Neck cocktail and Moscow Mule, combines whiskey from J. Rieger, ginger beer, three dashes of Angostura bitters, and lemon juice.

New this year, Horsefeather Social will also present a selection of low and no ABV drinks. This exceptional beverage lineup is part of the Free Spirited program launched by Loews Kansas City Hotel. Featured drinks will include the non-alcoholic Cucumber Crush, and the low ABV Ruby Berry Spritz.
