Kansas City: Horsefeather Social Prepares to Reopen for the Season on May 1

Season Re-Opening of Horsefeather Social
Positioned on top of the Loews Kansas City Hotel, Horsefeather Social, is slated to reopen its doors for the new season on Wednesday, May 1. This outdoor bar is renowned for delivering memorable experiences, offering striking views, delicious bites, and creative cocktails. The innovative hotspot will be open every Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Fans of the venue can expect an engaging lineup of activation and collaborations including Thursday Taco Night, Industry Sundays, and participation in First Friday Cookouts. Live music performances will also provide the perfect backdrop on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Signature Drink and New Eliminations
Their signature drink, aptly named the Horsefeather, will continue to whet the palates of whiskey enthusiasts. This timeless classic has origins in Lawrence, Kansas, from the early 1900s and became particularly popular in Kansas City, Missouri. The drink, reminiscent of a traditional Horse’s Neck cocktail and Moscow Mule, combines whiskey from J. Rieger, ginger beer, three dashes of Angostura bitters, and lemon juice.
New this year, Horsefeather Social will also present a selection of low and no ABV drinks. This exceptional beverage lineup is part of the Free Spirited program launched by Loews Kansas City Hotel. Featured drinks will include the non-alcoholic Cucumber Crush, and the low ABV Ruby Berry Spritz.

Apart from the delectable beverages, the relaunch will also feature an updated menu with scrumptious bar bites. Must-order items include Whipped Goat Cheese accentuated by lemon zest, honey, crispy prosciutto, pomegranate, and gluten-free lavash or the Roasted Chicken Sliders paired with Havarti, fresh spinach, and a punchy red pepper garlic aioli.
