First up is the beloved Christmas in the Park at the Frank White Jr. Softball Complex, located at 3901 SW Longview Road, Lee’s Summit. This amazing free drive-thru light show has been a staple for 37 years and is perfect for families. Make sure to hop in your car and head over any evening until December 31. They’re open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and staying open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The glittering displays are sure to be a hit with everyone!
Powell Gardens: An Enchanted Experience
Next on our festive tour is the stunning Powell Gardens, just a short trip away at 1609 N.W. U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, Missouri. Finally, the Northland presents an impressive drive-thru display at 10400 N. Platte Purchase Drive. This mile-long spectacle merges with Wyandotte County’s Holiday Light & Magic, illuminating 12 themed areas with vibrant lights and sounds. It’ll be open until January 5, with varying hours, generally from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
