As the holiday season rolls around, the atmosphere in Kansas City is positively buzzing with festive cheer! Year after year, the people of KC come together to celebrate with a plethora of exciting holiday-themed events, pop-up bars, and charming activities, each one more magical than the last. Whether you’re an adventurous foodie or a casual mixer, there’s something for everyone. So, grab your friends and family and let’s dive into this year’s must-try holiday festivities!

Miracle: A Maximalist Christmas Experience

Looking for a holiday spot that will make your heart sing? Look no further than Miracle. This year, Miracle is spreading joy at two fantastic locations: one at The Plaza and another at Crossroads within The Rockhill Grille. With a vibrant Christmas atmosphere that oozes cheer, this pop-up experience is tempting enough to have folks lining up. Open every day at 4 p.m. from November 29 to December 28, it’s a hot ticket in town. Since reservations are encouraged—and often necessary—be sure to lock in your spot with a $20 fee per person. Trust us, you don’t want to miss the fun!

Boulevard Brewing Company’s Rec Deck the Halls

Holiday spirits will be elevated at Boulevard Brewing Company’s Rec Deck the Halls. This popular brewery is back for its fourth year, offering a feast of themed craft cocktails and tasty beer creations. On top of the festive drinks, patrons can snag keepsake glassware, advent calendars, and even holiday apparel. Plus, get ready for games galore, including shuffleboard! Starting November 29 and running each Friday and Saturday until December 28, it’s a mere $5 cover charge. Kids, this one’s for the 21+ crowd only.

Kingdom’s Greetings at Arrowhead

While it’s unfortunate that reservations have sold out for Kingdom’s Greetings at Arrowhead Stadium, you can still get on the waitlist! This festive gathering features food and drinks from Vignettes and other local vendors, plus photo ops and music to keep the energy high. Lucky guests will get to revel in the Chiefs-themed cheer through a $25 reservation, which covers entry but not food or drink.

The House: A Midwestern Holiday Getaway

For something out of the ordinary, check out The House located in Westwood. This quirky spot is like stepping into your favorite midwestern aunt’s home, adorned with vibrant inflatables, vintage Christmas records spinning, and fire pits for roasting marshmallows! Plus, $1 from select cocktails goes directly to Operation Breakthrough. It’s all about the cozy vibes here, with no reservations or cover charge required.

Igloo Time at CharBar

Transform your winter gathering into an unforgettable experience at CharBar’s Winter Snow Gardens. Book a two-hour private igloo for you and your friends, complete with smoked nuts and either a delightful bottle of prosecco or non-alcoholic sparkling cider. Reservations for the igloos will be open starting November 29, so cozy up with your crew in this one-of-a-kind winter wonder.

The Gingerbread Experience at T-Mobile Center

Step right up to the T-Mobile Center’s festive transformation into The Gingerbread. Discover a delightful mix of seasonal cocktails and tasty snacks every Thursday through Sunday from November 29 to December 31. Tickets range from $14 on Thursdays and Sundays to $18 on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests will love this whimsical setting, complete with gingerbread figures and merriment around every corner.

Pop-Up Cocktails at Cheval

If you’re yearning for a French twist on holiday cheer, then head over to Cheval in Midtown. Their intimate space is serving up a Christmas cocktail menu inspired by classic films, alongside delectable small plates and elegant decor. Remember to grab a reservation with a $5 deposit, especially if you’re planning for a small gathering!

Enjoying the Holiday Spirit at KC Wine Co

For a more laid-back vibe, KC Wine Co’s Jingle Bar is the place to be. No reservations or cover charges are needed to enjoy festive libations in a twinkling, cozy barn. The Jingle Bar will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December 22, perfect for a casual outing with loved ones.

Seasonal Sips at Common Tiger and Society KC

This holiday season is all about pop-ups and festive fun! Common Tiger has adopted a winter ski lodge vibe, offering a delightful menu through a secret entrance. Meanwhile, Society KC is stepping up the festivities with its seasonal food and drink menus available from November 29 to January 4.

No matter where you decide to celebrate this holiday season, Kansas City is bursting with festive spirit and ways to create unforgettable memories. So gather your loved ones, embrace the holiday chair, and get ready for an extraordinary season filled with joy and togetherness!
