Ice skating season is back! Starting Friday, Nov. 8, the Crown Center Ice Skating rink opens its doors and will remain open until Feb. 15. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the chilling weather while having a blast. Plus, if you have little ones under the age of four, they can skate for free! Admission for adults is just $9. 2. GloWild at the Kansas City Zoo

Get ready for a magical evening at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium! The GloWild event is making a return and promises a fun-filled weekend filled with dazzling lights and delightful displays. General admission tickets are $24 for adults and $22 for children, seniors, and military personnel. Don’t miss this visually stunning experience!

3. Veterans Yoga Project

Celebrate our brave veterans with a refreshing session of yoga on the glass bridge of the WW1 Museum. This unique event will be held on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. and participants will receive a complimentary bottle of cold-pressed juice from Ruby Jean’s Juicery. It’s a wonderful way to take a moment to reflect and give thanks!

4. KC Current vs. North Carolina Courage

Soccer fans, this is your moment! The quarter-final match between the No. 4 seed KC Current and the No. 5 seed North Carolina Courage will kick off on Saturday at 11 a.m. at CPKC Stadium. Support our local team and enjoy the thrilling atmosphere!

5. Smash Those Pumpkins!

If you’re looking for a creative activity that’s eco-friendly, join the Compost Collective on Nov. 9 from 1-4 p.m. You can help smash pumpkins and turn them into nutrient-rich compost at Juniper Gardens Training Farm. It’s a fun way to reduce landfill waste while getting your hands a little messy!

6. Kansas Jayhawks vs. Iowa State Cyclones

Mark your calendars for an exciting faceoff between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Iowa State Cyclones. This much-anticipated game will happen at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.. Rally your friends and family and cheer on your favorite team!

7. Big 12 Soccer Championship Final

The excitement continues on Saturday evening with the Big 12 soccer championship final between Kansas and TCU. Catch all the action starting at 7 p.m. at CPKC Stadium. Will our team bring home the trophy? You’ll have to be there to find out!

10. Memorial Concert at the WW1 Museum

Finally, don’t miss an outdoor concert featuring the Navy Band Great Lakes on Monday, Nov. 11, at the Memorial Courtyard of the WW1 Museum. This concert kicks off Navy Week and is a wonderful way to enjoy live music while celebrating our military!
