Kansas City Shines Bright with Holiday Spirit!

The joyful spirit of Christmas has taken over Kansas City this December, and it’s hard to miss! Whether you’re driving through the streets or popping over to a festive gathering, the holiday cheer is all around. From spectacular light displays to themed pop-up bars, the metro is decked out and ready to celebrate. And let’s not forget the delightful new festival that has taken over Crown Center!

Independence Steals the Spotlight

Independence has been basking in the limelight lately thanks to the charming Hallmark movie “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.” Released in November, this delightful film was shot in the picturesque historic square and even at Arrowhead Stadium. The local buzz about the movie has only added to the holiday spirit in the area!

Neighborhood Magic

As you wander around the Kansas City area, you’ll notice that many neighborhoods have caught the holiday decorating bug. Hundreds of homes are now adorned with shiny Christmas lights and cheerful blow-up figures of Santa Claus. In fact, in some areas, it might be easier to spot a house without decorations than with!

Light Displays to Drive Through

Most of the dazzling light displays can be enjoyed right from the comfort of your car, although some properties encourage you to step out and soak it all in! And guess what? The majority of these showcases are totally free to enjoy. A few may request donations, but it’s all in the spirit of sharing the joy!
