Just in case you missed it, the festive spirit was alive and well when the Fireside Committee of the Kansas City Art Institute hosted a delightful cocktail reception on November 13th. This charming event aimed to express gratitude to the generous benefactors of the upcoming Feelin’ Groovy fundraising gala, set to dazzle on November 23rd. Can we say “exciting?”

The lovely soiree took place in the stunning home of Juliette Singer and Ian Spinks, where guests were treated to an exquisite display of their eclectic art collection. From the moment you stepped inside, it felt like walking into a treasure trove of creativity and passion. The hosts created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home.

November 1st, over 350 guests took part in Jackson County CASA’s Cocktails for CASA – A Night of Hope at The Abbott. What a night it was! Attendees were treated to a fabulous evening complete with silent and live auctions that helped raise funds for an incredibly worthy cause.

And just a few days later, supporters of the Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas gathered for the always-anticipated Snow Ball on November 8th. During the annual St. Martin of Tours Mass and Reception, they joined together to honor the efforts to assist those in need within our community. This gathering of hearts and minds is a beautiful reminder of the strength of community and the joy that comes from giving.
