July 1, 2024 – Lee’s Summit – The Longview Chapel Christian Church, located at 850 SW Longview Road, will be hosting a fun and faith-filled event called the Bible Day Camp in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The day camp will take place on July 13 and offer an array of activities for children from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with sign-in commencing at 9:45 that morning.
The event will cater to children aged four up to fifth-grade students. A diverse selection of activities, all organized around the theme of “Joy,” will be available. This one-day camp aims to create a welcoming and safe space for children to explore their faith while enjoying different forms of entertainment and instruction. Children will be divided into groups and encouraged to participate in various stations with activities that promote learning, laughter, and camaraderie.
In an effort to reach out to more members of the community, Longview Chapel Christian Church is offering free entry for this event. However, due to space considerations, the church can accommodate only up to fifty children. Interested parties are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure their child’s slot.
Registration can be conducted online by visiting the Longview Chapel Christian Church’s official website and filling out the provided form. Alternatively, interested individuals can call the church directly at 816-763-6290 for registration or any other enquiries. The church will also respond to questions sent to its email: office@longviewchapelcc.org.
Apart from engaging physical activities, the Bible Day Camp also offers spiritual nourishment and guidance guided by the teachings of the Bible. To that end, the event aims to instill “joy” as a realization of Christian faith and fellowship.
Reverend Tim Brewer, a spokesperson for the Longview Chapel Christian Church, emphasized the importance of such events in the community. “We believe that nurturing a child’s spiritual awareness can do wonders for their personal development,” said Brewer. “We hope this one-day Bible camp will serve as an igniter to spark the interest of our young ones to explore the wonderful teachings of the Bible while having fun.”
The activities at the Bible Day Camp are designed in such a way that children can learn biblical teachings through enjoyment and play. The camps boast a selection of fun games, story-telling sessions, creative crafts, and interactive lessons. By using these creative approaches, the organizers aim to effectively impart the joy and love encompassed by Christian teachings.
The Bible Day Camp is one of many initiatives Longview Chapel Christian Church is undertaking to promote positive values and spread the meaningful teachings of the Bible. Through these efforts, they aim to make a difference in people’s lives and to contribute positively to the Lee’s Summit community.
