Kansas City’s Bardavon Announces Latest Funding and Supports New Recovery+ Product Rollout
Bardavon Health Services, a leading health care company in Kansas City, announces its latest funding round aligned with an innovative product release. This signals a new era in workers’ compensation, along with a new operational chapter for Bardavon under their recently appointed CEO.
Financial Round Led by Renowned Investors
In a move to strengthen Bardavon’s commitment to the workers’ compensation industry, the latest financial round saw strategic participation from NewRoad Capital Partners and WestCap, coupled with ongoing investments from KCRise Fund amongst others. While the financial details remain undisclosed, Alex Benson, the recently announced CEO of Bardavon (a leading entity in workers’ compensation and musculoskeletal health), revealed continued participation from investors in Bardavon’s earlier Series A, B, and C raises.
Benson noted the latest capital would enable Bardavon to support the needs of claims managers, nurse case managers, adjusters, and above all, workers recovering from injuries or undergoing rehabilitation.
Funding Fuelling Expansion and New Product Enhancements
“The funding will help sustain the growth we experienced last year while allowing us to focus on new enhancements such as Recovery+. Furthermore, it will support our injury prevention product suite and additional referral management enhancements — both of which use wearable safety sensors to predict and prevent injuries,” said Benson.
As a part of the growth strategy, Bardavon will also be ramping up its U.S.-based sales and marketing efforts.
Recovery+ Set to Revolutionize Health Coaching
Recovery+, an innovative health coaching platform, is set to expedite recovery and improve the return-to-work process for injured workers. It is designed to empower injured workers, giving them direct engagement with certified clinicians for a more personal and supportive recovery experience.
The new product is expected to simplify the procedures for client partners, payors, and case administrators by effectively triaging issues and streamlining care management. Recovery+ is now an essential part of Bardavon’s offering, actively being adopted by existing clients and available for new ones.
Expressing his excitement about the Recovery+ launch, Benson said, “Recovery+ heralds a new era in workers’ compensation that spotlights people by delivering personalized, on-demand support for injured workers whilst streamlining the recovery process for our stakeholder partners.”
Strengthening of Long-Term Relationship with KCRise Fund
Bardavon’s next chapter will be supported by the KCRise Fund. Highlighting this crucial alliance, Benson spoke warmly of the long-term relationship built between Bardavon founder Matt Condon and KCRise Fund founder Darcy Howe.
Benson added, “KCRise is a pivotal part of Kansas City’s fabric — guiding and helping so many early-stage companies with a profile similar to Bardavon’s. Having their (growing) team alongside the company through this next chapter is a blessing.”
Conclusion
The continued support and funding solidify Bardavon’s commitment to the workers’ compensation industry. With their new health coaching platform Recovery+ and an expanding U.S.-based sales and marketing team, Bardavon is positioned to change the face of healthcare and workers’ compensation for good.
