Founded back in 1990 in Lubbock, Texas, Bahama Buck’s has made quite a name for itself over the years. They specialize in all things icy and refreshing. New Location Details
The exciting news? Bahama Buck’s will be building a 950-square-foot store near the northwest corner of 135th Street and Nieman Road. The development project is currently under review by the Overland Park City Council, with a meeting scheduled for October 7. The site, which is just north of the Community National Bank and south of the Neiman Plaza shopping center, is in a prime location to attract busy families and dessert lovers alike.
In terms of layout, this new location won’t offer any indoor seating. Instead, there will be a convenient single-lane drive-thru that wraps around the east side of the shop. It’s designed to serve about 10 to 15 customers an hour, making it easy to grab a tasty treat on the go. Plus, there will be four dedicated parking spaces at the front of the building, along with additional shared parking available at the shopping center to the north.
A Taste of Texas in Missouri and Now Kansas!
While this will be Bahama Buck’s first location in Kansas, they already have more than 100 locations nationwide, with a couple of others in Missouri located in Branson and St. Peters. This means that many folks are already familiar with their mouth-watering offerings, and now the people of Overland Park will have the chance to indulge as well.
