KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Your next virtual meeting destination could be as close as your local theatre. AMC Theatres, based in Leawood, has confirmed the opening of pioneering ‘zoom rooms’ in eight key cities, including the Kansas City metropolitan area.

What are Zoom Rooms at AMC?

AMC’s Zoom Rooms aim to offer an innovative twist to the conventional meeting experiences, hybrid events, and other meetings. Companies can now hire these rooms that boast superior-quality large screens and audio equipment, on top of the Zoom platform’s convenience and familiarity.

AMC’s Future Plans: 2024 Olympics in Paris
